For more than 15 years, Atlanta has been my home.
I spent more than a decade as a reporter for 11Alive, where my work was honored with 40 regional Emmy awards and 16 Edward R. Murrow awards. I covered stories in nearly every county in metro Atlanta.
As a national correspondent with Scripps News, my work took me to 42 states in three years, but I consistently found meaningful stories to tell back home.
Now with Pearl Impact Media, I remain based in this city I love, dedicated to highlighting and uplifting the organizations making our region stronger.

LEKOTEK OF GEORGIA
I've produced several videos for Lekotek over the years.
(I've also been fortunate to serve on their board.)
For this, we chose a classic "Explainer" concept, showcasing how Lekotek serves both children with disabilities and their families.
But it's not just their services. It's also their mindset.
Viewers fully feel Lekotek's belief in the "power of play," which speaks to the lane they've carved in 40 years in metro Atlanta.
PURPOSE BUILT SCHOOLS ATLANTA
An Atlanta mainstay since 2016, PBSA sought a video that established the variety of opportunities and pathways at their three schools.
I shot ten interviews, collected footage from a dozen classes, and distilled it all into a video that captures their mission and message that now headlines their web site.
TEACH FOR AMERICA METRO ATLANTA
I had already signed up to attend this event. Then I was asked to film it.
A powerful opening speech. More than 20 breakout sessions. And dozens of attendees from the education space, all taking the day to build and learn together.
That's what Atlanta does.
That's what I tried to convey in this recap video.

Local news barely covers climate beyond the headlines. We decided to change it in a big way at WXIA-TV in Atlanta. I shot, wrote, and edited this documentary short that looked at climate solutions across the state of Georgia.
